How much of it was real and how much of it was lies?
She honestly couldn't tell. But that didn't matter to her in the slightest bit. What was, however was the fact that a certain somebody was already awake, and Maki made the decision to coolly approach her, even if she didn't necessarily know what to say to her, entirely.
To Kaede, who had thought that she had murdered someone, when that wasn't the case.
So, instead, she opts for:]
... hey.
[Nailed it.]
